In this body of work, I collected porcelain tableware and overpainted them with overglaze. I was inspired by being in the ceramics studio of University of Applied Arts in Vienna. This bowl illustrates a reality of porcelain painting: the use of chemicals and of bottles to contain them.
No soup, no dishwasher, unless you are ok with the painting to disappear over time. But this bowl will do well with peanuts!
