This small plate is one of the few remaining from the time I used to print silkscreens on porcelain and had a passion (as well as collection) of invoices ("Kassenzettel").  I loved the idea of this small piece paper - with a normally short life span - being captured forever in clay. I also like to share the intimacy of unknown consumers. Here, something enigmatic was bought on the 11th of June 1991, probably by my grandparents.
 
Food safe but keep it out of the dishwasher, in order for the print to stay on the plate!
