I dipped this bowl in buttermilk before putting it in the kiln. Hence the sweet smoke patterns.
Because of the low firing temperature, this bowl should be kept in a house and not subject for longer periods to negative temperatures.
Stoneware, fired at 300°CI would not recommand eating from it (absolutely no soup, microwave or dishwasher). No problem for keepsakes !
